Customer Success Manager

Contract Logix, a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) SaaS software company, is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our growing Customer Success Team. This candidate will be an experienced professional with expertise in building and maintaining client relationships to help them maximize operational and business value.  

The ideal candidate is one who has experience with web-based technologies, is passionate about helping customers achieve positive outcomes, has effective communications skills via phone, conference calls and email, and understands what it takes to develop mutually rewarding, long-term relationships. Additionally, this candidate should have the ability to learn new capabilities and communicate these concepts to customers with varying degrees of technical expertise. As the voice of the customer, you will also work closely with the Professional Services, Sales, Support and Product teams promoting a Customer Centric culture within Contract Logix. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • The primary point of contact throughout the post-onboarding customer journey, developing relationships with multiple stakeholders and maintaining a focus on driving adoption and tying this to measurable business outcomes. 
  • Ensure customer retention and renewal as well as identify expansion opportunities for customer growth 
  • Regularly monitor platform usage and proactively contacting clients to ensure the health of the relationship. 
  • Utilize a CRM to keep track of key account data, opportunities, logging calls and relevant notes. 
  • Act as a communications liaison between internal Contract Logix and Customer team members. 
  • Promote customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating an understanding of their business needs and helping them achieve their objectives using Contract Logix solutions. 
  • Educate customers on the use and benefits of Contract Logix solutions. 
  • Provide customers with information and assistance regarding product updates and new features. 

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience as a Customer Success Manager, Consultant or similar role in a SaaS B2B company. 
  • Proven experience using or implementing CLM technology and processes, legal tech or similar technology.  
  • Ability to manage 40-50 customer relationships. 
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships. 
  • Technical skills required, as they relate for the use of the product and services provided. 
  • Accountability and strong organization skills are essential. 
  • Experience analyzing and improving existing processes in the Customer Success department. 
  • Deep understanding of customers concerns and thoughts regarding the use of products, and the ability to troubleshoot as needed. 
  • Experience with HubSpot and JIRA is a plus. 
  • Passion for learning new technology and evangelizing to others. 
  • Bonus points:  
    • Industry experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences or related spaces. 
    • Industry experience in the Legal or contract management profession 
    • Commercial experience in navigating simple contract renewal and/or expansion software opportunities
